How to Sort or Search Photos and Videos by File Size on iPhone/iPad.

When organizing photos or videos, it is difficult to find those with large file sizes in the default Photos app. However, with the HashPhotos app, you can easily find photos or videos with large file sizes.

Sort by File Size

On the main screen, tap the ... button at the bottom left. Then tap View Options > Sort By > Size to view photos/videos sorted by file size.
Selecting the option again will toggle between ascending/descending order.

To change the sorting option only for the album, turn off the Use Global Options option in View Options > Album Options and select the sorting option.

You can also set this in Settings > Thumbnails > Sort in Album. (Sorting in All Photos does not apply the Global Option set in Settings)
You can sort in ascending or descending order by changing the Ascending option.

View File Size on Thumbnails

On the main screen, tap the ... button at the bottom left. Then tap View Options > Thumbnail Info > File Size to view file sizes on thumbnails.

You can also set this in Settings > Thumbnails > Additional Info.
After selecting File Size as Additional Info, you can view file sizes in bytes by turning on the File Size in Bytes option.

Search by File Size

Tap the search button at the bottom right of the main screen and tap the keyword button.
You can find photos and videos of desired size using the #filesize filter. The #filesize filter can be used as follows:
- #filesize<150000
  file size is less than 150,000 bytes
- #filesize<800kb
  file size is less than 800 KB
- #filesize>150mb
  file size is greater than 150 MB
- #filesize>1.2gb
  file size is greater than 1.2 GB
- #filesize>150m
  "b" can be omitted
- #filesize=100m-150m
  file size is between 100MB and 150MB
